oil pressure question

01 z m6 when im at idle i have around 45 psi oil when im at red line the oil pressure gets dam near 80 psi want to know if anyone else has this going on i run castrol syntec 5 30 i tried other kinds and weights to see if that was it just curious on if its normal or something getting ready to puke car has 109k on it also

The pump is driven off of your crank so as your crank spins faster, so does the pump.
Iv never seen it that high but i wouldnt be to concerned with it. The bright side is if you do break something that just leaves room for bigger and better things.... lol, you should be fine thou
