im not sure which engine to buy for my 2.8l 86 camaro. I would love to have a ls1 out of a corvette but i don't think i can aford it. I can get a 350 out of a yukon and for dirt cheap cause my dad has a junkyard , I was thinking of making a carbed 383 out of it. How would torque and horse power differ from ls1 and 383(just a general idea)? also one more question is that year one engine for 86 camaro any good ????Basically I would like to know your opinions of either building the 383 or putting in a crate motor. thanks ALOT!
