Selling misc. parts from traded 02 T/A
I recently had to trade my 02 T/A. I have some odds and ends laying around that my be useful to some of you, so here's the list:
$75. SOLD! Probox 2 12" custom-fit sub box for the rear hatch. Shipping is possible but uneconomical, so if you pay it I'll ship it! Would rather either you pick up or I can meet half way.
$25. Used K&N air filter--about 3.5 years old; 45000 miles.
$5. New foglight bulb, door panel bulb, and Used lowbeam headlight. I replaced both headlights at around 50,000 miles and this is the one that was not burnt out.
$5. Hooks that are behind the backseats; for child seats maybe?? Took them out to do stereo in that location and never put them back in.
$15/piece. Used t-top holders that came out when i bought the car to put the sub box in.
$30. SOLD! Rodney Dickman replacement brass headlight gear kit. I bought 2 kits when my one headlight gear stripped and the other side never broke, so I have this one still wrapped and never used.
$50. SOLD! Hollywood Digital 1000 watt 2 channel amplifier. I used this to power my subs and replaced when i put a new system in the new car. Worked flawlessly when removed a month ago, but is about 5 years old. I included a pic of the RMS ratings from the included manual.
$20. SOLD! 20 black replacement screw on lug caps. These arrived at my door a day after i traded, so i've never opened the box. Brand new, purchased for $25 on ebay.
$5. SOLD! Chilton repair manual for 93-up camaro/firebird. Barely used.
$30. Rocky Mountain Radar passive radar jammer. Go to their website to answer any questions about what it does/how it works. Basically confuses police radar guns into giving no reading and is legal in most states (where detectors are legal). Unit is about 5 years old and I include the power wire, although i had it hard wired in so there is no cigarette lighter plug--that can be purchased on their website.
$10. Brand new SmartCord for Escort 8500/8500 x50 radar detector. Bought a new x50 and hard wired, no need for the supplied cigarette lighter cord. Cord includes mute button, power indicator, and flashing detect indicator. Will take a pic if requested.
Of course, all shipping costs are paid by buyer. I will accept paypal or check/money order. Any questions or requests for other pics just pm me or my email is rclay@patriots.uttyler.edu.Last edited by 02WS6dream; 04-30-2008 at 11:12 AM.

LS1Lust--actually I do - in pewter. I had planned on keeping it, but pm me an offer and I'll consider.
gable2000--there is no way to be sure unless you have a cop buddy that can radar you and let you know. I suggest checking out the Rocky Mountain Radar site for info. From what I recall, it has a range shaped like a cone, with the point at the device in the windshield (yes, like a detector--preferably alongside a detector) a spreading out forward of the vehicle. It makes 'noise' on radar frequencies that confuses the gun and the gun therefore gives no reading. They reccomend a detector, because if you imagine the cone extending from your windshield then you will see that once they get close enough in the opposite lane they will be out of the cone and unaffected by the jammer. The idea is that they are in the cone and jammed while your detector goes off and you have plenty of time to slow to a reasonable speed before they get a lock on ya. I've read reviews that verify its effectiveness and i've read opinions on this site that say its trash. I've had it for years just as 'insurance' along with my detector; bought it the first time i got a ticket with my detector. Also, it didn't hurt to have people ask 'what is that'...me:'a radar jammer'. But I rarely speed now, and have a new escort 8500x50 to let me know when cops are around and chose not to install it in the new car. Know this is long--hope it helps answer your question!
3yr/36000 mile bumper-bumper + 1200 continuous watts of beautiful musicwill never get over my obsession with birds/vettes though...

I've never seen the back of a convertible so I really have no idea. There is a pic of the box up there, along with a pic of it in the car; are the back of the cars similar? I'm sure somone could answer that. Shipping is rough--I've done one quote and it was $70. Box weighs 45 pounds.
