Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
***COTM April and 2008 COTY.....Mr. Luos***
Thank you to everyone that voted for my car as the Car of the Year! Quite an honor.
Not much has changed to it. Been sitting still for some time now. Really hoping I find work here soon so I won't be looking to sell her.
Thanks again!!
~Mr. Luos
Bought her in May 2003 used. 9,949 miles.
I knew I would own a WS.6 from the time the commercials got released. I would see black ones on the streets and I just knew I had to get one.
Started off telling myself I would leave it mostly stock. Lid and catback is it.
I then went to longtubes, and an LS6 intake. That wasn't enough. So I got a small cam.
376RWHP and 14.00 at 105MPH. Stupid Colorado.
In late 2005 I decided to drive it to Cordova,IL to visit family and race it. I thought I had popped the LS1 somehow. Turns out I didn't, but I had already gotten the plans underway for the 402 LQ9 build.
Did all the work (aside from the exhaust and the fuel lines) in my one car garage. Took me 6 months with help from friends. Was a beast. Took me a little time to get everything worked out, but when I ran it in May 2006 it went 12.6 at 115MPH. Again...Colorado altitude. Was happy, but knew I could do better.
It is currently a never-ending project. Waiting on my FAST 90mm intake to be ported by Tony Mamo and returned. Koni SA's are on order as well. Re-tune coming soon also.
1999 Pontiac Trans Am WS.6
ASC build #1747 (out of 5,010)
35,357 miles (4/2/08)
531.1 RWHP
481.3 ft/pounds
Through a Moser 9", 4.11's, and on M/T DR's.
11.975 at 117.59 MPH (Bandimere Raceway--5800 feet--7100 DA)

Agh Man, If I would have known that was YOUR car I wouldn't have voted for it.

congrats bro......... I'm a little disappointed though. All that space and all those pictures and not 1 single pic of it up on jackstands where it spends most of it's time along with mine.
