    LT1 to LS1 Swap

    My cousin is considering putting a LS1 in his 96 Caprice the price he got with the engine and installation is $3700 thats for the engine,parts and labor is that a good price?

    I have no clue, but Just to throw another idea in. I was thinking about this.

    1992+ Camaro/Vette/Impala SS "LT1" 383 stroker motor. | eBay

    My guess is it would be a little cheaper on the install. Plus 410ft lbs sounds good to me!

    It isnt a horrible price. Is the price for a crate LS1 engine or a used engine? Also depends on how many new parts are included with the install.

    Thanks fellas,the guy told him the price was for a brand new LS1,i thought a brand new LS1 costed about $5000 from GM I might be wrong though,i have no idea what the guy is supplying but $3700,sounded strange to me

    Price seems way to good to be true,thats also including the trans? How many miles on the LS1?

    Heads/Cam/Intake/Stall.
