So attempting to do test pulls to verify my custom dash light turns on when my second fuel pump turns on under boost. Easier said than done I realized today that I don't hit the minimum 4psi of boost till about 5k then it's insanity to redline where she hits 16 psi. On the old setup she would generate 4 psi at around 3k. Big change with the new cam and heads!

Also tune isn't quite final yet. With a boost leak, coils that weren't delivering enough spark, a tail shaft busing that walked out causing a bad drivetrain vibration under load, and a burnt wire she put down 984 rwhp 740 ft lbs of torque. Numbers won't be final for another month when the final tune is set. Right now doing testing with new coils, new wires, a new silicone intercooler to throttle body coupler, and no walk tail shaft bushing to make sure she's all set before setting the tune.

I'm never one to half ass shit....clutch plate broke the spring. Did me a favor anyways, needs replacing. Odd thing is it never gave any signs of slipping or this much wear. It always felt normal.
Fly wheel not any better. One of the spring pieces put a grove in it. Monster makes you buy a flywheel as part of the kit anyways. Just need to decide between the standard 28 lb one or the 18lb billet steel one. $90 difference. Open to suggestions.
Probably going to throw in a new slave as well, this one only has 10k miles on it. Not sure yet.

Wowza that's some hot spots! Sent you a PM. But yes replace the slave as well. Whenever I do a clutch I always do the slave. My buddy and I learned the high HP you go, if you leave the slave and change the clutch 75% of the time the slave will leak and you'll end up having to replace your clutch again. I'd rather not so I just go ahead and replace it. Besides the auto parts store near me has a lifetime warranty on slave cylinders so I don't lose money on the part anyways.

2016 Camaro SS - Summit- 2001 Trans Am WS6 - NBM
WS6 is falling on its face on startup again... if I give it gas for a few seconds, I can keep it from stalling out and it normalizes. Reset the PCM, the car starts and runs perfectly...until I'm guessing it runs one full cycle. About a day and a half later it's back to the same.
No trouble codes, I've cleaned the filter, MAF and throttle body, and one of two o2 sensors has very recently been changed. The other looked newer as well.
My guess based on the fact that all of my symptoms go away with a PCM reset, is that a sensor is giving bad readings. Without trouble codes I'm throwing darts. Bad MAF? IAC? O2 Sensor? I'm unsure where to begin here. Granted all of these parts are much cheaper than they were 5-10 years ago, but it's still money and time I don't really want to waste. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sounds simple enough. I'll try that this evening. If it is a bad MAF, I'm not buying another SLP. I'll just get a Delco or Delphi from Rockauto.

I mentioned it when we had the car re-tuned. Ed didn't like the idea. He gave me reasons, but I don't remember them, and if we're being honest it was a little over my head anyway
The real reason may have been he just didn't want to mess with it.

I bought LCA relocation brackets for my 02 Ram Air at Carlisle in June but haven't had the time to mess with them yet - really haven't driven it much lately to be honest,, it's been doing nothing but raining here especially on my days off ( me whining ) -- anyway,, I got them b/c I was having wheel hop bad doing burnouts. Question is - which setting on the bracket should I use? all the way down or one up higher ? ... and, are they an easy enough install that I can do it myself - do I run it up on ramps or should I hang it on jack stands?? guess I shoulda asked some more ?'s when I bought them.

What did you do with your Trans Am today?
Lower the better. Easy to install.
if you're above 430hp you need to get them burn (weld) in if you're going to do heavy track use.http://www.ls1.com/forums/f7/my-6-liter-build-174257/
