It will be close
Wrecked my Camaro today. I'm alright. A little sore but walked away with all my blood where it is supposed to be. But the car is probaly totalled.
It's a 2002 Z28. Had it for 8 years. Bought it new on Halloween in 01. I'm just so f'n pissed at myself. Worked my ass off for 8 years to afford a car like that and keep it in near mint condintion, and then I f' it up bacause I'm in a bad mood and not thinking right. Went around a sharp turn, down shifted to 2nd. Got on the gas to soon. Tires were still cold and could have still been wet (there is a muddy spot at the end of my driveway). Ass end spun around and the car went in the woods.

Glad to hear yer OK. If the car is repairable, keep this thread in mind. DON'T DO THIS AGAIN.

It was hard tell what was screwed up underneath. But I know airbags went off, busted windshield, replace front bumper and rad support, repaint half the car, steering is screwed (steering wheel well free spin), toe-in is way off, and I think I busted the transmission. I have full coverage Ins. I'll wait and see what they say. If it is totaled I may take the money and buy me a bike.

Whenever I had an accident and the car was repired, I kept a mental note what not to do. Kept my car outta the shop...well...if someone wasn't actually stupid enough to hit me.

If you do not mind my asking, what had you so ticked in the first place?

I wasn't that ticked. Just a little upset and in a hurry. I was running late because my wife had parked behind me and blocked me in. And I had just asked her nicely yesterday to not block my car in. Normally if she parks behind the car I take my truck, but I have a trailer hooked to the truck. When I went in to get her keys to move her car she gets pissy with me.
