My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
Just curiuos-as I approach 30, i still feel like my life is no where near as stable as I expected it to be. I mean, I still feel about as mature as an early 20's dude...so ya what does life come with @ 30?

I really don't "feel" any different. It's just a number that sounds bigger then it really is. I'm not trying to sound all worldly because there a people much older but I reflex back to when I was a kid and remember saying where I would be at age 30. Big house, wife, kids, 2 Ferraris, boat and such. Kind of funny how life plays out.

You're on crack.. 30 ? really...I'm mid 40's Serious Health Issues and have smoked for 25 years and I am just now starting the breakdown thing..
At 30 I was King of the MTF world..
Grats to ya Soltakr .. At 30 you start "get it" and can enjoy some of the things life offers.. And it's not to late at 30 if you find out you're on the wrong path.. When you hit my age.. You realize that the power and awesomeness of youth is wasted on the youngAnd that you still had the world infront of you at 25-40. Have a drink and go tap something cute !!

Kahana is right - 30's HAULED by for me.. Life was Awesome in my late 20-s through my 30's..Not that life is bad now.. But I don't go as long as I did back then now.. Friday nights now, I get home at 730-8 pm and all I wanna do is sit on the couch, eat some dinner and relax.. when I was 30 ? Hell I was out til 12-1 am and up at 6... Not anymore
Financially secure ? I thought so then.. This is a different world now..All my well laid plans have changed.. You can be.. I know several guys that are in their late 20's..
have a good career. Own a house. Got a couple kids etc.. All less then 35 years old..Hell I am 43..my only child is 21.. Lives on his own, Just me and the wife.. Which is both good and bad somedays Heh. Make a plan. Work the Plan. I used to write out a projection of what I wanted.. both 1 year and 5 year - Seal the Five year and only open it Five years later.. Stare at the One year at least twice a month and figure out what you are doing to accomplish it...Hope that helps.

Yeah, I do feel that part. Things that use to really piss me off just slide off my back. I've got thicker skin and find myself staying at the table after dinner and just talking with my folks. Watching guys trying to hustle chicks at the bar is hilarious now. Plus I'm not so quick to just blurt out my opinion, I'll listen to what everyone else has to say. If I don't know enough about the topic then I don't say anything. ha ha image that.
