Check out a few sponsors or ebay for a pro 5.0. you could check out summit for a B&M ripper. But ill be picking an MGW shifter for next year though. Theyre about $200 which kinda sucks but they are a work of art.

You're right. A lot of '96-'99 and '01 Cobras have 4.30 rear gears. If you are into drag racing, they are a must for na Cobras. On the other hand, most people leave the stock 3.55 rear gears in Terminators.

Yup, the '03/04 is a totally different animal. The positive displacement blower builds boost immediately, making there no real need for anything numerically higher than the stock 3.55's.

you cant have full exhaust without headers. So he has a mid pipe and a catback? He really needs to put set of long tubes on that engine to get it too breathe.

thats basically what mogs said, saying catback doesn't mean there actually has to be cats, probably just referring to that part of the exhaust. Although custom is a little different. Basically everything but headers, straightback maybe an x or h pipe.

I had a 2000 Trans Am M6 that pulled 13.4@ 105 consistently. Same car as the Z-28 with the same motor. And that was STOCK. No lid, no exhaust, not even any of the free mods. So it is completely possible that a stock Z-28 ran lower than a 13.6

^^^Agree, when LACR was open elevation of about 2700 Stock Z28 M6 ran 13.6 on several passes. At sea level that should be about 13.1-13.2 and his was a 2001 Z, my stock 01 SS 6speed at the time would run 13.8 with 2.4-2.5 60ft times, i admitt not being a very good driver but at sea level the times wouldve been 13.3-13.4, so many Z's and SS Camaro's can and will run mid to low 13's.
