so again a y-pipe with dual cutouts would see the same gains as an x pipe with dual cutouts, right?

maybe same gains on a stock motor but not the same flow two cutouts will outflow one just like dual exhaust will outflow single exhaust. but i would imagine even less low end with the 2 cutouts but even more top end. not enough to notice probably unless you are highly modded.

you will probable gain 3 horsepower or so and lose lowend torque. go with the hawk pads that are the best very quiet and hardly any dust. they are everything you would want in a pad for a daily driver. i have them and i love them

right , but what i mean is if you have a y pipe.. and you have an x pipe.. both have dual cutouts.. with the cutouts open, they will see the same power, right?

there's a grommet right below the passenger seat you can pass the wires through. I pulled the passenger seat out and took the kick plate off so I could run the wires under the carpet and up to the center console to my switch. I then ran from there to the fuse box and crimped on a spade connector and hooked it to the aux. spot in the fuse box.

This is over a bone stock exhaust correct?? Over the stock catback?

Cutout tends to be about equal to a good flowing catback for power.

Dual cutouts are NOT a good idea on most vehicles. Too much of a lose on the low end powerband.

Thanks a bunch guys, ill start a thread for my car soon, i just dont have enough time off and its my dd to start doing the free mods to! ill have to figure out a way though, i plan on doing all bolt ons including the ls6 intake and a good sized cam, but not much more, like to get up into the lower 400's with my horsepower, and also do all the suspension work to make it really grip. And of course a 12bolt .

anywhere i should order the hawk pads from thats better than others?
