SWG was either a love it or hate it game. I loved it before they made so many changes.
Bioware generally does things right so I've got high hopes for it.

SWG was awesome before everyone could be a jedi... It went downhill from there.
It was true PvP. If you woke up early enough in the morning with some friends you could wreck havoc at an enemy base. Destroy faction items that take days to farm in an hour or so... good fun.
Also you could have your own city. Pretend you went out to Winterspring (or wherever) plopped down your town hall and said, this is going to be a town. If you got enough residents you could get all kinds of benefits. Really cool game... ya know... back in the day...

This isn't really related to the MMORPG, but is Star wars related.
Anybody have an xbox with live? Is there a way to download expansions and put them on using a cd or other method? My lil brother just told me that my fav game (battlefront II) had an expansion a year ago which I've never gotten to enjoy. I don't want to sign up for live and then have to pay an additional $5 to download a yr old expansion.
