I just watched L'il Wayne on Saturday Night Live. I watched the whole thing. He had a guitar hanging on his back so I was watching out of a bit of curiousity to see if he really could play it. He played it for about 10 seconds at the end of his "song".

I watched the whole thing. It was like a train wreck. It's like, you really wanna look away, but something keeps you looking at it.

Good grief what a waste.

Pathetic.

Who in here actually likes this crap or thinks that there's any "talent" there?

Lil Wayne mostly, it was the end of SNL. Even SNL has some moments that make it great. The Lil Wayne performance wasn't one of them.

Although primarily a metalhead I do have to admit to like other generes, in particular songs like "Never gonna give you up".

I made way more $$$$ in copy bands playing dance music and CW than I ever did playing rock.

Back to the subject:

While not a fan of hip hop or rap I'll give him some props for using live musicians, although I do not consider the "record player" (scratch) an instrument. He should be castigated for attempting to play an instrument (guitar) that he obviously knows very little if anything about when on a nationally televised program.

My verdict: FAIL!

When he is removed from the veil of studios, and music videos and music producers this guy has lil to no talent at all. Hes worse then some 3 yr olds that play guitar on youtube, he really doesnt rap at all and if he does its COMPLETELY inaudible, and he can't sing. On top of all this, when he performs or appears on tv or in public, people are forced to look at him. Hes quite possibly the ugliest person in the US lol

So why is it again that hes so popular? Oh yeah, people are idiots.
