is the factory security connected to the factory radio?

Don't think the monsoon "theftlock" feature is connected to the factory alarm system. Is that what you're asking?

The shock sensor in on the passenger side wheel well, but disconnecting it will leave the rest of the alarm intact. I'd guess the "brain" is partially in the BCM/PCM for VATS, fuel shutoff, etc. I'd post what you're trying to actually do so someone more knowledgeable than I can chime in.
