Feedback on Eagle Alloy 077 and 185, PLEASE!!
I just saw the post by Chevyjunkie...I am posting this for him 'cuz he is having difficulties. He is a friend of mine who works for American Eagle Alloy.
"i need some feedback...
I work at American Eagle Wheel and ive been trying my best to bring back the 077 and the old style 185. These will only be produced in the high offset for '93 and up. Sizes are TBA
And I have done it!!! but the owner only wants to put them into a conservative production amount...so i need to know which wheel you would rather see. Please help me out and i will help all of my fellow F-Body Brothers get some badass wheels for there rides!!!"

I had the 077's on my grand prix. Tehy are a good looking wheel. Just not on f bodies. The w body guys would like one of these wheels to return.

Honestly, they're a cheap wheel, so neither. If they plan on increasing the quality, then I guess the 077 wheel. Although, I've never liked the wheel, but it's better then the other option you have.

Blue- 2002 Z28 Camaro M6
I have a set of 77s that I carried over from my 94 Camaro. Over the space of about 4-5 years I have had to of the wheels develop cracks across the a spoke. The first one was completely cracked all the way across, and the later one just started to crack. Not such a big deal since Eagle replaced them for free (even paid to have them mounted), but the 77s are discontinued, hopefully I will have a different set of wheels before something like that happens.
The only other major handicap with the 77s for me is that they where never made wider then 8" so you can not put very much meat on.
The set I have are polished and though I would prefer to have a set of chrome. This is mostly because I am lazy and the car is my DD and lives outdoors. When they are polished up and really clean they are great looking, but it is hard to keep them that way.
