Any Mountain Bike guys in here??
I just bought a 2007 Specialized hardrock used on ebay. Seems to be in very nice shape, owner says it wasnt ridden hardly at all (who knows if its true)
Anyways I know that the front fork on the bike is garbage to the point that it would be dangerous to take trail riding. After reading many reviews I want to go with the Rockshox 318 Tora Coil front shock, ill post link below. I wanted to make sure that the fork would be compatable with the bike. It is a threadless 1 1/8 headset and the the forks steerer tube is a 1 1/8 threadless so does this make them compatable.
This is my first bike and I just want something nice to take on trails and commuting without braking the bank. After the forks I am going to look into the Shimano Deore XT front and rear deraileurs as well but I am going to see how the current ones hold up.
Here is the bike I just bought:

Here is the Fork i am looking into buying:
http://cgi.ebay.com/RockShox-Tora-Co...2em118Q2el1247
Any advice on the bike at all would be appreciated!
