Cooper Zeon's spinning on rim
Well there is a first for everything. My new zeon 2xs are spinning/ slipping on the rims. Stock rims, 38psi.
I pulled them back down, cleaned all the tire lube, and same thing. Both rears are turning on the rim.
Anyone else have this experience with this tire? I have heard of this happening, but this is a first for me.
The tire guy said he would replace them, but I don't want to get another set and have the same thing happen if this is common with these tires.

PEWETER METALIC- 2002 CAMARO Z-28 M-6
i just put them on my 02 and they do fine in the rain. As for your rim slip, I have no clue I mounted all four of mine in an hour with no issue. I've got about 1k miles on them now and 2 nasty rain storms under their belt

I got no complaint about the ride quality or handling. I had a set of coopers on an older T/A and really liked them...that is why I went with these.
Granted, handling is not as responsive as my bridgestones, but they don't cost near as much either. Maybe I just got a few out of a bad batch. Who knows...

triple-black- 2000 CamaroSS convertible
since anyone has asked... how much hp are you putting to the ground ?
When you have a lot, it can happen on a sticky tire... but I see those qualifying as a sticky tire.
Gutt feeling is there is something wrong w/ those tires.Eugenio_SS
almost stock triple-black 2000 SS convertible with 17x11s on all 4 w/ 315s at the track or on the street with 18x10.5s on all 4 w/ 315s: (1), (2)

Im not puttting down that much hp. I just think for what ever reason, something is up with the tires.
I am looking at the g-force or the yokohama's. They are both about the same price.

I got a set of G force's on the way. I just got back from breaking the tires down again. I started to just get another set of coopers, cause I do like the tread design, and they stuck pretty well in the turns, but I didn't want to take a chance on the same thing happening.
GForce will be here next week.

BFG's are on the rims. Will post road test tomorrow. Two of them didn't call for any weight at all. So if nothing else, they are some very well / evenly balanced tires.

Finally got her back on the ground. BFG's are more responsive than the Coopers. And they are staying put!!
So she is sittin pretty on the new BFG's, Strano springs, and konis. This thing is starting to handle like a T/A should.
