Front End Suspension Sqeeks....
My front end suspension squeeks really bad when i go over bumbs or a bumby road.. I cant figure out whats causing it. Ive relubrcated all my suspension components (front stabilizer bar, end links). The shocks (bilstien)were replaced a few years ago and the springs are original equipment.. Whats interesting was i took my car to a car wash and washed the underside and the squeeks stopped for a day then came back.. Any info would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks

I jacked up the car and took off the wheel and then took apart the end links and the rubber bushings on the front sway bar and cleaned and put some lithiam grease on the bushings and put it back together.. I even sprayed WD 40 to see if i can narrow down where its squeeking at and still my front suspension squeeks.. Im just guessing its in the shock or spring... its driving me nuts... lol

Black- 2002 Camaro B4C
front end squeek
My 02 Cmaro does the same thing, just over the speed bumps in P lots etc. Everything checks out okay and tight, but I have a feeling it is the styro foam / bumper cover or something chaffing. Again doesnt seem to do it when wet, just on dry warm days. bumper cover seems tight.
just my thoughts..

Try some penetrating oil instead of wd40. Also do the control arm bushings and top strut mounts.

I had this same problem and figured it out. The noise is coming from your upper strut mount isolator. It is 14-16 bucks from the local parts store, they do have to order it usually.

No problem. I spent alot of time and money trying to figure that out. It's always something simple.
