what the hell is rattling!? Rear suspension.
Sounds like it's coming from my passenger side rear. (2000 Trans Am)
I do have rod end bushings on the pan hard bar, and Lower control arms.. everything seems tight. but it wasn't doing it as bad before now it seems worse..
is this normal.. any little bump i hit etc it rattles. and when i am driving ans push in the clutch for a second then put it in gear it get's a clunk.
thought about the exhaust but it all seems good.
Thanks guys.!

is it a clunking sound ?
what kind of rod-ends.. I initially had some lower grade ones and they were clunky.
Got better ones and totally quiet.Eugenio_SS

remove the catback and see if you hear the noise... if not... there is the solution... drive no catback hope it's just that and tighten/readjust the exhaust.

Black- 2002 Camaro SS (crashed)
I had sort of the same sound, and it ending being a bad muffler bushing/hanger.

If you have a muffler with one inlet and two outlets, check where the exhaust runs into the muffler and the outlet on the same side. Sometimes they will rub together and cause a rattle sound.

If that's the case, how do you get rid of it? Wrap some muffler tape/bandage around it?

Take it to a muffler shop and they can fix it.

Yeah. I've come to get used to more noise in this car than I have in every other previous car. the good part is by the time most folks hear the rattles I'm a couple miles down the road!
