Y-Pipe on stock manifolds
The mods I am going to do to this car is minimal. All I want is a little louder and to avoid the skip shift so....
Y-Pipe
CAT Back (Maganflow)
Skip Shift
The questions are
1. What Y-Pipe can I get that will bolt into the stock setup? I found SLP, I hear GM has one as well? Any others? Links?
2. Anyone have pics of the SLP Y (or others) on stock manifolds? Want to see how low they hang with stock manifolds.

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
it's pointless to get an aftermarket Y pipe on stock manifolds:
the stock ws.6 Y is 2.75" and an after market is 3" so really what are you gaining other than a fabrication PITA.
Now that i saved you some coin-go buy a corsa catback

That flat part on the drivers side of the Y would seem like it would be restrictive??

save your money on the corsa, although it is a great set-up I just think it cost too much. magnaflow or hooker makes a great catback system. and may I suggest getting long tubes(then you will have to get a new y-pipe.)

Maybe will just toss on a catback then. The Y just looked bad. Not looking to make a monster, just want sound and thought while I was under there.....
How does this look for "free flowing"?

a good cat back = good sound. you don't need the y. it's a waste of money

the y-pipe is really the anoying part that attaches the manifold to the muffler.
