Ram Air decal placement?
Hey guys i finally bought my ram air hood and love it
. But it came with out the "ram air" decals on it, of course. So i just ordered mine but i have no idea of how far up to put them?
I seen close up pics i was able to pull up on line but still i want it to be as close as possible to the original location (on a true WS6). So if anybody knows of a site that would have this info please post.
Oh and i would ask one of yal to take a pic with a tape measure but that will problaby be too muchlol, but if you have time to kill...plz
Thanks alot guys, you all have been very helpfull.

Are those decals larger than the ones that came from the factory?

I think so because when i ordered mine from ebay, they said the were OEM size which were way smaller than those...and i wish they were that size bc mine looked kinda small ill post a pic in a sec...

Well, good...I thought I was seeing things weird. :P
Any chance you could measure the height and width of those decals, roughly? So, I can compare with mine to see if I got the big ones are the regular ones....

It seems that there was no consistent placing of them from the factory. I think they look best placed closer to the top of the hood. That's where the most consistent factory placing seems to be.

There was a correct placement with the factory decals as they came with the backing template to alingn with the point of the scoop. I'm at work right now and would have to wait till I get off in the morning and take a picture of this OEM decal. stayed tuned until then.
Here is the pics on my photobucket album;

Right on. I had no idea. They were just what was on it when I bought it. EVERYTHING else was bone, dry stock when I got it, so I just figured they were, too.
thanks

Nice red stripes on the hood, are they decals or painted?
