im actually lookin at the same truck. thats y im sellin my ws6. they have the ls2 with 395hp in awd or 2wd. you can get nave leather blue tooth. the major downfall that i hear is the trans is its weak point. guess like our rears. i think they run like high 13's stock 0-60 in the 5's. i have seen as high as 20mpg on sum site even mid 20's with a gear swap as they have 410's i believe. i think the average is high teens driving decent.ive heard that a tune and converter and your in low 13's easily if not 12's. it can tow 6800 pounds so not too bad.

Black- 2001 Corvette
I have an 06 3SS (loaded awd w/ leather). I've only towed 1 time, and it towed like there was nothing behind the truck, plus the automatic leveling in the rear w/ airbags helps a lot.
The truck drinks premium fuel. It's my wife's DD, she drives slow and easy and can only manage 15mpg city/hwy combined. The best I ever saw was 18, and that was with no A/C driving 55mph. So, plan on 15ish at best.
It's a nice truck, runs great, the LS2 rocks. If you're worried about mileage though, it sucks.

My wife's mainly sees city mileage and gets 12-13mpg. We took it out of town recently and got 16 but cruising at 80+.
If you don't mind paying alittle more, check out the jeep srt-8. Much better overall and quite a bit faster. The trans is the biggest issue. I put on a tranny cooler when I bought it to help out.
A guy I work with and I both bought one the same day for our wives. We took them to the track a week later and I ran a 14.68 and he a 14.8. They generally run mid and some lower 14s.99 35th GT: 5.0 stroker, twin 60 turbos, aeromotive return style fuel system, full suspension.
575/563 @ 12lbs-adding more soon...
07 Trailblazer SS(wife's): 22s, 3200 stall, cammed and bolt ons, lowered. 405/405

I had an 06 loaded up and it was the wifes DD and she drives congested highway driving. 15mpg. We took it on a 400 mile road trip 16mpg was the best I could get. Stock exhaust, K&N air box, thats it. Awsome truck, I hated to get rid of it, but she was filling up every 3 to 4 days. Good luck!

I was talking about the TBSS. I have no clue if the jeep has one or not. I do know that their trannies seem to hold up pretty good though. I've been dying to put a cam in the tbss but instead of $1500, I have to include the cost of a new tranny

Great truck, love mine but as others have said, gas cost is something you really need to factor in. I dont drive mine that hard and only average 12 mpg. Mine is a daily driver and I still look forward to driving it even after 18 months.

I bought an 08 TBSS (Imperial Blue Metallic) last December....hauls ass! My MPG stays between 14.8-14.9, anywhere! It's an awesome truck...no complaints here. Now I just need the matching boat!
2001 Chevrolet Camaro Z28, M6, Eibach Pro-kit, BMR STB, BMR Adj-PHB, BMR RB's, BMR SB's, BMR Adj-TA, KYB Adj-shocks, K&N, SLP LM, SLP Y-Pipe, SLP Intake, Predator Custom Tuned...
Treat her well and she'll put a smile on your face every time you get on her!
