Cracked Ring?
Has anyone ever cracked a ring on their ls1 without nitrous? I started up my car this morning and drove away like normal. I noticed that it did not sound quite right through the exhaust, kind of tingy like it was hitting on something lightly. Kept going and looked behind me and there was a nice cloud of steady blue smoke. Then I went back, got my DD and went to work really pissed off. I was beating on it some last light, but never noticed any smoke and it running wierd.

Well, I did a compression test, which was good at 180 for each cylinder. At the same time, I reset the computer for some reason at it cleared out. Must have a something wierd happen, IDK.

umm could be the PCV system you romping on it all night building pressure in the block... unleashing oil into the intake way more than it should... something like that.. IDK just a guess
