Am I getting a good deal?

I am going to have a local performance shop (LS1 only shop) do a nitrous setup on my car... he keeps "the good" kits he calls in stock and said he would set it up on my car for 1100$, tuned, installed, everything.... And it has all the "bells and whistles"..

Hurst t-handle with button, toggle switch put next to TCS switch, and then a wot switch, purge valve where I want it, a blow tube to be track legal.. He said he would set it up for 150 shot and will give me the stuff to set it up for 100 just for running around the street.. 1100$ installed and everything, tuned by him (he is known for his good tuning)

You still didn't mention the BRAND kit he is going to install?

Is it a Dry or Wet?

Plate or Nozzle?

Sounds about average depending on brand and kit he is giving you.

What software does he use to tune?

Not sure on brand, and I think its a nozzle kit.. And not sure if its wet or dry.. I didn't ask those questions because he is the expert on it and i'm a newbie to nitrous

Well in my opinion I would go back in their and tell him you want a wet kit and you prefer a plate kit. That way you are spraying BEHIND the throttle body for more even distribution and not just spraying into the air intake tube hoping for even nitrous to all cylinders.

I will ask... he knows more than me.. He wouldn't steer me wrong, i'm sure its the nozzle kit but im not so sure he isnt spraying it before the TB anyways.. He has a few cars on 200+ setup's including his low 9 highway patrol car.. Probably 10 LS1 cars go through that shop in a day.. Well known

Do you have a kit you could recommend me? I am looking for 150 on the track and 100 on the street.. He said if I buy a kit he would install for around 500-600$ depending on how perfect I wanted it to look.
