?Texas Speed True Duals?
I was thinking about buying the true dual set up from Texas Speed, but the only problem is that it does not come with any catalytic converters. I was wondering if anybody has ever put a set of catalytic converters on with it or if it's even possible to do so? I don't know too much about cutting exhaust pipes or welding so any help would be appreciated.

I was thinking about contacting Texas Speed and asking if they would weld on a set of cats to their true-dual system before shipping it out. Similar to what they have done with their Pacesetter Y-Pipe. Don't know, haven't closed the deal on the LS1 WS6 yet.

Well I just got off the phone with the guy from Texas Speed and he said they do not offer it with cats, but he said that you could probably fit some on to it. I don't know though. It seems to me that if the cats would fit then they would already offer it with cats.

I hate getting shit welded. I'm going to get some cats and clamp them on with a set of band clamps. I don't see why more people don't do that.

Or if you cant do that, just get some cats and cut them along long one side, gut em, and slip em on the Y and turn the cut to the top and tack em in. That way it looks like you got cats, but you don't.

I definitely want them dumped. The shop I go to knows me pretty well and will pass me if they are dumped. But they said I have to have cats to pass visual. They didn't say that they have to be functional, just there I guess. I still don't have the car yet, so I guess I don't have to worry about it yet.
