Killed a S281 Saleen.
Ok yesterday I get a call from my Pregnant ex-wife that she had been in a wreck. So i leave work and haul ass to where she is at. It is about a 25 min ride. So when I get about 10 min out I fly by a Saleen. Not being an ass I was just trying to get there. Well he jumps around and gets next to me about 45 or so and he jumps a time or two. It was a decent day so I had the windows down and when we pulled up to the light he said hey that thing sounds good, but will it run. This guy is probably late 40's who is he to question me. I said it runs alright. He then asked wanna run? I said I'm in a hurry, but it is on my way so ya. Well when the light changes we gun it. I spun and had to feather it and when I hit second he was figuring out what the hell was going on. Needless to say not much of a race with 4.10's. He pulled up next to me and he said well I guess I answered my own question of will it run. I felt pretty good considering the situation of what was going on. I hate that all I get to run is Mustangs, but hey a kill is a kill no matter what it is. I'm just glad I only have about 16 or 17 thousand in min and he had about 40k in his.

How do you get that thing to hook up? Mine only has 330 rwhp and 4.10's and I just can't get traction in 1st and 2nd. I can feather it, regain traction, then mash it to the floor and the damn thing breaks loose again in first and second. That was with stock rims and tires though. I have 295/35/18's on the back now and I need to try that out.

I still have trouble getting traction, but I have learned to feather it and gradually ease into it. If I don't it will spin. You have to learn to ride the clutch a little also.
