Black- 2001 Camaro SS M6
Did a search and can't find the answer?
I have mods below and have a LS1 Motorsports lid with the baby K&N air pump filter. My question I can't find is how will I (if any) benefit from removing the air pump and what I need to do it. I know I will need a block off plate for the headers (Hooker) but what else do I need? Is it even worth it? I don't have smog to pass up here so that is out of the question. Any help would be appreciated.

83 Z28 new project- 98 Formula WS7-sold:(
There is no real performance benefit of removing it. The reason we do is for looks and it also makes it easier to change the plugs and a few other things where the hoses get in the way.
