?Gold Z, Black SS Spoiler?
Ok I'm not sure how good or bad this looks, so I want to get some opinions. I have a gold Z28 and I put a black SS spoiler on it. At first I was just puting it on to make sure it was gonna fit before I had it painted, but then I got to looking at it and now I'm not sure if it needs painting or not. What do you all think?

It kinda works because of your berger panel but Imo i would have it painted. I say leave it how it is for awhile, youll decide what you think is best.

tint, drop 1", SS hood with black accents and I think that would look sick.
I like it that the mirrors are black too.02 TA A4

Yea window tint and an SS hood are both part of my future plans. And I was also thinking about a personalized tag that said: GOLDNZ28 or maybe GOLDEN Z.

man that is hard to say...it would look good either way. that gold sure is a rare color. dont see many of them at all. looks great.

Yea the color is the main reason I bought the car, and I think I have only seen 2 other gold ones on the road sence I've had it. According to my sources it was only offerd in 98 and 99 in the 4th gens. I think they built 1542in 98 and only 5 in 99. So yea it's pretty rare.

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
the issue is it's not enough black. tint the window, finish the paint between teh wing and the rear window, and paint a black mantaray on the SS hood...see below:

Personally I'd paint it gold and do a black manta stripe when you get the hood. Did you go OEM or aftermarket on the wing?

It's an OEM spoiler. The guy I bought it off of had it on a black 96 Z28. He said he got it off a red 01 SS. He said it didn't have the third brake light in it when he got it so he filled it in and painted it smooth. He's the same guy I got the rear panel from, and he also filled in the CAMARO on the panel and put the ols Z28 emblem on.

If the whole hatch was black it might look better. Otherwise, paint it to match.

Paint it gold and continue the Manta to the rear spoiler, it will go nice with the berger. Tinted windows, clear corners&smoked lights all round with the black slp grill or black billit grill would be badass!

I found it on craigslist. The guy had a perfectly good 96 Z28 that he was parting out. It was black with an SS spoiler and SS hood. It had a 383 with 400+ hp, a high dollar suspension setup, a real nice set of corvette wheels, and some high performance tires. The interior was flawless, and the hole car was just mean looking. I ask him why he was parting out a perfectly good camaro and he said he would get more money out of it that way.

I would paint the spoiler to match the color of the car. I would do a manta with the stripe on the back like in the picture.

^ do something like that. and if you get stripes, you need a ss hood. and if you do that, you might want black wheels when you get the $$$.
