***COTM announcement, please read***

Once again someone tried to vote for themselves with a troll account. This is twice now in 5 months. There's a good chance that if someone does this they will get caught and DQ'd from the contest and temp banned. Not only does it lessen the credibility of the contest but it's personally embarassing for me. I spend time every month setting this contest up to give you guys some recognition for the work you've done to your car.
It's popular on the site, I enjoy doing it, and would like to see it continue. Please stop trying to cheat your way into the cotm. There are a ton of guys on here that deserve it and are trying to win it the right way. Don't ruin it for those guys. I want to continue doing the contest but I'm not willing to let myself and the site get embarassed over it. I will stop doing the contest if the cheating doesn't stop.

As a past winner of COTM, I find it disappointing that such means to win are being taken. Those lucky enough to advance as 'finalists' should be proud of that fact, and let whatever happens, happen. If one really wants to win that bad, go out and earn it. Take the pics and sumbit the "money shot" that puts the rest of the cars in the voting to shame. Win fair and be proud that you won that legit. One needs to take pride in COTM, like one takes pride in their car to want to submit for it...

It really lessens the feelings of pride, personal accomplishment, and recognition for all past, present and future COTM winners, by playing dirty...

Orion, it is my hope that you continue doing COTM...

a troll account that was active since 2005?

That account wasent created to vote. it had been active for yrs. there was a confusion,but what ever. All that was explained and resolved by the Mods. that's why I'm still here. I do want to thank everyone who voted for me though.I'm still bumed out that this happend. I still was up by 9 votes. I sure 59 of those accounts werent trolls.
