Head casting numbers

Does anyone know what a head casting #862 was used on?

There's a guy on Ebay trying to pass them off as Corvette heads.

I could be wrong, but did not the 97' C5 model come with those. I think they are outside bolt pattern for the valve cover.

The heads pictured have the center bolts.

Its probably one of those ploys to get searchers in for a look. I have a set of stage 2 98' ls1 heads lying around that are outside bolt pattern; that came from T/A. I could swear they are 862's. Whats the link?

I believe 862 heads are 5.3 heads. The only heads that came on ls1's were 806,853,and 241

806 Heads - 97-98 Heads..Perimeter Head Bolt
853 Heads - 99-00 Heads..Center Head Bolt
241 Heads - 01-02 Heads..Center Head Bolt

862 heads were 99-00 5.3L heads
