There are alot of factors that come into play, Ie what type of driving? City highway? Any mods? a4 or m6? Hows your foot?
In the city i see around 19mpg on the highway its about 26 mpg.
Mods are in sig.

My Z28 got around 30 on the highway and mid to low 20's around town. Averaged about 25 mpg a day in it with just free mods. Mine had 2.73 gears though. What gears do you have? If you don't know look at the driveshaft. If it is rusty it's 2.73, if It is aluminum which won't be rusty you have 3.23's.

Best thing is look at the door jamb for the RPO Code for your gears.
It's accurate, not a guess.
GU 2 = 2.73
GU 4 = 3.08
GU 5 = 3.23
GU 6 = 3.48
