Door won't close right...?
I was pissed off at my old lady the other day, and I closed my door hard, but not really slamming it, and now it doesn't shut the whole way? I think that middle double bar thingy that the door latches onto may have bent inward, because now if I slam my door, it shuts, but the back edge sits in about an inch!!! It really looks like crap, but I'm worried that it's going to mess something up even more. Anyone else have this happen? Thanks!

ive had the latch(es) on my door freeze up and not allow me to close the door at all . . . i just sprayed some wd-40 or white lithium on it, and work it back and forth . . . i believe there is 2 latches on each door, a primary and a secondary . . yours may just be the secondary latch froze up, maybe??

Learned a lesson here? When mad at females, never take it out on your car...
I'd say just compare drivers and passengers latches, and if need be, just order a new one from GM; don't risk actually damaging the car/door.She's baaaaaccccck...

alright reread your post and i was way off . . . thought you said it sets out an inch . . sorry bout that . . id say that the bar is bent like you say or (hopefully not) the door jamb where it attaches is bent/dented

you'll just have to compare sides to see what's bent.
on a side note, if you place her head in between the door and car it won't bend the door next time.

HAHA!!! I didn't know mods were allowed to joke around?
lol. I know a guy that works at a body shop, and has been an auto body tech for 15 years. I'm gonna take it to him to see if I can get some advice, but like you guys are sayin, I think it's one of my latch posts that got bent.
