dumb question
Ok dont give me to much $h!t....
So i bought qa1 coilovers and shocks about 2yrs ago and...... havent put them on yet, i just really havent had time and usually when i do have time i just end up driving th car instead. i worked so much this past summer that i only had it out a handfull of times.
My ? is this, i have some time comming up now and the weather is to crapy to drive it, coilovers and shocks dont go bad just sitting in the boxes do they?
I mean they gotta sit on the shelf at summit ect. till someone buys them right? Do you think there still ok or do i have some expensive paperweitghts, i dont know much about shocks and struts, just how to put them on but i took them out of the box and they still have pressure when i pull and push them by hand.

The seals can be damaged from non-use.
You will not really know until you (finally) install them. Keep an eye on them after the install if they start leaking you will know...

I thought about the seals also, but like i said how long do they sit on the shelf at summit, its not like they have en exporation date....
