Adding the TA Wing To Formula

I have a 1998 Formula Firebird with the low wing....I was told that I can unbolt the low wing and just place a TA rised wing in it's place....is it that easy. has anyone done it....Please Advise.

Im pretty sure you have to get a TA Hatch.

You'll probably have better luck getting the whole hatch rather than the wing itself anyway

I found just a wing for sale wasn't sure if it would bolt right up.

anyone have pics of the 2 wings? I keep hearing it's lower, wondering what they big diff is?

The Hatches are completely different the Firebird/Formula spoiler is integrated into the hatch while the Trans Am Uplevel spoiler is bolted to a body contoured Hatch.

Thanks That's what I thought...That's why I was looking for a TA hatch. Do you know if the trim off my firebird will mount on the ta....Thanks Craig.

Not sure on this but I don't see why it would be different I mean the glass is the same so the interior trim peices should interchange.

Is that Royal Oak Michigan your from ?

I have done the Swap myself. you cannot just bolt the "wing on"
you have to get a whole hatch, you can use your old glass if the doner hatch glass is busted.
you can use your interior trim on the TA Hatch.
PM me if you have question, I even have pics from when i did it.
you can just bolt the new ta hatch right in where you old low hatch was.
