how to get locking lug nuts off
just realized today that my car has locking lug nuts from the factory. i bought the car used in july and the tires were new. i never really gave it much thought until i was getting the car ready for a trip and decided to check to see if i had them. of course there is no key for them anywhere. thanks in advance for the help

Go to the dealer or hammer a larger socket over it, saw that done once but you'll need a new lug nut.

I had FireHawk and I just hammered on a socket to all of them worked fine. Now I have a set of sockets with some reverse threads in them that will thread over the lug nut and break them loose.

Tire shops usually have the tool to take lock nuts off.

I just used a socket that was just a little too small to fit wasn't hard at all. Cheap ones might split though.

first dig around in the t-top compartment for the key. I had the exact same thing happen and the key turned up back there about 6months later. Not sure where it was hiding up to that point because I looked back there at the time. Just showed up one day.

I'm Lazy So I went to the dealer
They have a set of master keys. I bought four regular lug nuts and they took the locks off and put the regular lugs on while I waited (had an appt.) It was like 20-25 $
