????gas guage????

my gas guage is a 1/4 of a tank off it dies out at a fourth tank but when you fill it up it reads just fine but it is completely ran out of gas at a quarter tank what the hell could this be?

It could be the internal meter inside the tank. Most likely anyways. JM2C

x2, unless you want to replace the fuel pump assembly, just fill the car up when it gets to a 1/2 tank. You shouldn't run these cars empty anyway, always fill it up above 1/4 at least.
Starving fuel pump = dead fuel pump eventually = money spent.
