Well, during World War II, the bombers that had to fly at high altitudes had "turbo-superchargers" on them, which were really two-geared superchargers, but a true turbo and supercharger set up was being worked on throughout the war, but was never really developed due to the jet engine technology.

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
Actually this was done to a box Nova that was Hot Rod's Car of The Year (? might have been another mag) back in the mid 80's. It had 2 turbo's blowing through a 6-71 on top of a BBC (I think it was).

to fine tune that would be a royal pain in the ass... the blower PSI and turbo's PSI would have to be equal would it not?

hmmm... i remember that vw uses the supercharger for the low rpm boost and disconnects it in the top rpm range.

Mad Max had a supercharger he could turn on and off, so why not the real world?
I don't doubt that this thing works, but again, seeing is believing.

Since you can already get a big enough turbo or blower to push enough boost to blow just about anything apart. What would the benifit be besides a ton of extra heat which aint really a good thing

And there's a cummins in the latest issue of Diesel power runnin a 9.97 1/4 mile and 110lbs of boost. I might as well weld my heads to the block and put an air compressor where the passengers side seat is.
