Hey my fellow car heads.....I am in a slum right now....why....well here is the almost short version of the story.

About 2 months ago I woke up to my neighbor’s wife screaming. We are not friends in anyway (her husband) but he did cut my hair for a while. I've always felt there was something about him I didn't like. But moving on, so I run next door and he is beating his wife, she opens the door and ask me to talk to him. He goes on this rant (MF this and MF that, this is not your house, etc) basically being a BI. Ever since we have been on sub conversation terms.

Now that I have set the tone of what happen, here is the story of my car.

For the last 1 1/2 months I have put about 2K into my car, fuel pump failed, injector 6 x2, injector 5 and a burned out CAT the problems just wouldn't stop. Well two nights ago I puttered back to the shop and left my car there. The shop called me the next morning and....(You have an ass if sand in your tank!)

. Everything is shot, all fuel injectors, the fuel pump, fuel rails basically the whole fuel system. Also there is a burned out CAT to top it off.

What a BITCH move

! I am not one for violence but I would rather fight another grown man in the privacy of my back yard then for some jag off to screw with the car. I mean chicks do this stuff. I wouldn't be as mad if it was an old girlfriend because it's to be expected. I can't prove it was him but I am cool with EVERYONE I meet, location, race, sex, nothing plays a factor with me. I am SO pissed! Anyway there is my story....glad I can claim this on the insurance. However they are saying they may total it because of the repair cost vs the age (1998) and milage on the car 140k+

Thanks man, yeah that's why I been of the radar latey. Should be able to clear my mind over a beer and some Halo later today. You are right about the gas cap thing....it's a must now for sure. I am supposed to hear something today, might end up on here looking for another F-body if it doesn't go well

Flat out go up to his door and ask him if he did, he's either gonna arrogantly admit (stupid i know) or his facial expressions will tell you everything. Then you beat his face in. He wants to hit women and fuck with your car for no reason, he needs his ass kicked in a big way.

I always put a locking cap on...even put one on the day I brought my truck home. I have some neighbors that don't like me and some punk kids down the street...so yeaa

BTW how much sand did your fuel filter stop? You'd think it would clog up and stop fuel flow before it let too much through

Sometimes I put shit in my own gas tank when I get completely pissed off at it so I can get a new car...

Thats gonna be my mind set for sure from now on. The fuel filter was completely clogged according to them.
