ls1 tb on lt1? (not newb question)
is there an intake manifold out there that uses ls1 throttle bodies or at least a single throttle body for the lt1?
a friend of mine said he thinks hes seen them, but he might have seen a custom intake of some sort. he was saying he thinks they make them for tpis as well.
he knows what hes doing. i know it wasnt a ls1 or anything like that that he saw.
im just curious if anyone has seen something like this. i never have, but its a great idea.

He's probably talking about the monoblade throttle body for LT1s. It isnt a circular blade like an LS1 unit, but is basically an LT1 shaped throttle body with a single long blade instead of two circular blades. To try to fab an LS1 TB onto an LT1 manifold would be a nightmare. You'd have to custom fab the entire front portion of manifold to fit everything up. And that's just to get it mounted.

i think i know what your talking about. but he was talking about an aftermarket intake manifold designed to use the ls1 type tbs. im sure that it was a custom sheet metal manifold.
who makes the tb that your refering to? is it oval shaped?
