O2 Problem Solved
I found a O2 wire laying across the header which had rubbed to the bare copper, which was giving me a an SES light. I had a 2468 random misfire code and a Lean Bank code, Easy enough since the wire and header contact was on the passenger side. Another sympton was excessive black smoke on hard acceleration. After removing both O2 sensors (passenger bank was covered in black shit while the driver's side was clean as a whistle) and cleaning them both, I repaired the bare wire and bought an O2 extension and after clearing the code it has ran fine for 4 days. No smoke, SES light and the gas mileage has improved. Does this make since, I have a problem with the need to know and understand these problems. I have only owned my WS6 for 3 weeks and it fucking rocks.
