I paid him with paypal - should i make a claim now and link paypal to this thread or wait until the headers don't show up to make the claim??
How did you guys catch this? Who did he scam. Damn i'm pist!! I knew i shouldn't have trusted a newb!! Hope paypal will come through if i don't get my headers.

He was creating multiple troll accounts. Big red flag. I would flag PayPal now as this guy is definitely being suspicious.

I had the same thing happen to me. I made a claim with paypal and he emailed me stating he was going to be sending the stuff out. I told him he had till monday to get them here or I would push the claim for a refund. I have never had to use paypal for this, so if the stuff doesnt show up, hopefully paypal will come through for me.

I was really interested in the cylinder heads he claimed were Patriot Stage II LS6 heads.
I tried to get him to post the specs of the heads on his thread. He wound up sending them to my Email. I would ask him questions and he would seem to be trying to skim the top of the details. I asked him 3 times for his User Name on LS1tech and finally he gave it to me. I searched and could not find it.
As I asked about the details of the heads, he seemed to not even know what it was that he had bought. So I asked for the part # for the heads. I told him that it would be in big writing on the side of the box and it would start with a P. ( I have done my research)
Again, it took him 3 times to give me the answer and it turned out to be 5.3 Litre heads. Now either this guy was really pathetic and ordered the wrong part or he was pulling shit out of his A$$!
One of the things that I like to do with a new member, is talk to them one on one. I gave him my cel l# and he wouldn’t call it. I assured him that I was interested and what do you know, he tells me to call him! I Email him back cause I can’t seem to reach him. He states that he is moving and he doesn’t have a phone that he could use to call me?
There’s a lot more to the story, but I think that you get the point!

Man, he lives in BFE! He's lives just north of Elizabeth, IN which is where Caesar's Indiana (arguably the nicest casino in the Midwest) is located. Go pay him a visit, get your money back, and go blow it at the boat!

I was actually interested in those headers as well. Well in the thread did you notice that he wouldnt post his name on tech? Also he did not post any pics of the items he was selling. He told me in a email that his cat had broken his cammera
He also told me that he had the headers ceramic coated, wich on stainless steel is not that usual. With all this combined including no trader rating and a low post count........scammer. Also its always best to send money to a "verified" paypal member. This basically means they linked a bank account to there paypal and so making it easier for paypal to track the person if they end up being a scammer. It really pisses me off that people will do this. I hope you get your money back, good luck man.

ok well i just talked to him on the phone. He seems like an ok guy, he just seems to confuse me a little.
Since i made a dispute it put a lock on all of his incoming money for paypal- and he says he does business on ebay. He refunded me my $500 a few minutes ago and it is "status pending" from paypal. He said he refunded me to lift the lock on his account so he could do other business. Makes sense to me. But then he also said that the headers were still on their way and to send him the money back once i receive them. Yet in his message about the refund he said that he will go to the post office and tell them to return to sender. He said he needed his paypal account unlocked. If i do get the headers at my house i will send him the money. But who know if they are on their way or what lol He did say that he will send me a tracking numebr when he finds the receipt.
I'll keep you all posted:
sparknotes: I almost have a refund pending from paypal. Headers may still arrive at which point i will pay him for them.

Don't hold your breathe on those headers...he wants his account unlocked so he can scam other people.
