PS3 help
Ok I have a Onkyo 804 and a PS3. I have a HDMI cable going from my PS3 to my Onkyo and a Optical from my PS3 to the Onkyo I still do not get any sound through the Onkyo.

make sure the optical out is active on the ps3 and is set to output the correct format and the the optical is assigned to that input on the onkyo

I did assign it to the AV, when I go to the settings on the PS3 it's set to HMDI, when I choose the Optical it does nothing. I have my DVD, PS3, and my Cable box all which are HMDI directly to my TV, do I need to plug all of my HMDI to my AV and then come out of my AV with one HMDI to my TV.
