offroad exhaust
Hi I have a 99 z28 that I want to put an off road exhaust on. I know this will give me a low converter efficiency code. I understand there are converter simms out there. But I was I also told the ecm could be reprogrammed also. I have a Tech 2 scan tool. Is this possible with it? And if so what do you do to reprogram it. I just got the tool and am not as familiar with it, as I am with my Modis which can't reprogram at all. Thanks Aaron

I don't believe the Tech2 allows for reprogramming.
I recommend having a local with HPTuners or LS1edit turn off those codes for you. Sims can be more trouble than they are worth.
