    Electric cutout

I'm thinking of putting one on the Y-Pipe of my 2000 model WS6. What size should I order, 3" right?

I would either put it in the I pipe or your gonna have to pick up two of them.

is it better to put them right after the headers, and start of the y pipe, (which will take 2 of them), or just put 1 of them where the t pipe becomes single pipe? is there any performance or sound changes in the locations? thanks

put mine on the I-pipe. at the rear seat there is a hump in the floor that allows you to tuck it under the car real nice. also a rubber grommet right there makes running the wire easy. you are gonna like it loud as hell won't even sound like the same car.

There is no performance loss or gain due to location. Lil bit of sound difference but i instailed mine in the I pipe and havent closed it since the instail. I love the sound. I ordered countless catback systems and didnt like any of them, so i went with a 30 dollar cutout and feel inlove.
Although like mentioned above Our cars have a nice lil spot in the I pipe right befor it goes over the axle where the cutout fits just perfect.
I personaly think it would be a pita to put them after the headers.
    just my op thou.
