Finally ran her...
Well, the boyfriend and I finally made it to the track to run his new Z28. (damn florida rainy season!). made a best pass of 13.64 @ 104mph. like a 2.2 60'. All it has is removed spare/jack, ported TB, 180* thermostat, smooth bellows, and descreened MAF. Hope to get it down to lower 13s with better weather (the humidity was horrible) and some better launches/tires.
I have some true duals i'm giving him. And I need to make him buy a lid and filter. should help a little bit
anyway, for shits and grins heres a pic of her next to Frank Mewshaw's 7 second turd gen. (that I helped with, jsut a little tiny bit )

if you are going to be running the car often, then put the spare back in and remove your front sway bar and front bumper support.
me and my buddy did this to his car AT THE TRACK(the sway bar not the bumper support) and went from consistent 2.002-2.034 to and incredible 1.949-1.979 60'
we are going back tuesday to see what his m6 does with 245 nittos and rear lower control arms and the front bumper removed.........feels a lot faster out of the whole
if i were to beat i think he will hit a 1.81-1.85 60'2000 auto camaro

That sucks, my clutch slipped for the first time since I owned the car last week. Seeing as I just dropped 3K after it sitting for six months with a grenaded 10-bolt, I was totally bummed with the thought of having to spend another 800 on a new clutch install.
