I'll tell ya what anybody will tell ya.
Do what you like to do. Is this the fastest car you've owned so far? If it is, then I would suggest doing a little bit of suspension work before throwing more power at it.
But hey, if you get more of a kick outta just droppin the hammer, then go for the bolt-ons.
Just use the force, it guide you well will. /yodaspeak

try this first http://www.gmhightechperformance.com...modifications/
then i would say added some power first like lid, filter, cat back first after the free mods above, then maybe some suspn modds, but talking about power, how much are you looking for and most of all what is your budget and future goals of your car?? need more detrails

I did a mixture, started with a lid strut brace and cut out on the car when I bought it. From there I went with a cat-back and y-pipe. Then did spring/shocks/panhard rod, then underdrive pulley and ported my tb. Then came lcas and relocation brackets, headers and a tune then finally a torque arm. In the middle somewhere I added wheels with some bigger meats.

As far as mods, you have to look at your budget, and your ultimate goal and start modding towards that goal. For ex if your gonna go turbo then dont buy lt's.
The posts above have good sugestions.
Dont forget about the suspension, ie sub frame connectors.
Intake and exhaust are good starters.
Also like said above dont waste your time or money on a new maf.
Chances are you will throw codes due to the "newly found" incoming air and the computer gets confused and the stock maf can hold upwards of 550 hp.
You can de-screen the maf but you wont see or feel any gains out of it.

Get the lastest issue of GMHTP magazine and you can read up on suspention mods. I just got mine in the mail yesterday. They are doing a MadMan setup for the drag racers and a lower cost BMR setup for the street crowd. First thing you have to do is descide what you want to do with your car.

well put it this way. if you get the susp. mods first, your car is ready to handle the future HP if you get the power first car will be faster, but wont handle the best , but hey its a sports car soo

also to add forgot who said this on this site. but someone with a turbo 600HP w/o susp mods was still slower then a car with 400 hp with full suspension mods.
goes to show you how much they can help
not sure if the HP # are exact but i know there was a big diff
