chipped windshield
i have a small chip in my windshield about 1/4 in. in diameter. just wondering if anyone has any good suggestions on how to fix it, or if it can be fixed. do i have to buy a whole new windshield? it hasnt started to spider yet.

Talk to your insurance company. They'll probably send you to a glass shop. Some companies will even waive your glass replacement deductible if you opt to get it repaired instead of replaced(saves them $$$).

Just had mine fixed at Binswanger Glass for $39.95. Took 15 min. Did not even claim it on insurance.
2002 Sunset Orange TransAm 6 spd.

I've had two or three chips on my windshield thanks to living in Colorado
I have gotten all 3 fixed. No insurance, around 20-40 bucks to fix
I opted for not having the windshield replaced at this time. I'm going to wait to see if at one point I get a crack or something. In the meantime, I don't think is worth it to replace it, and then have another rock chip sometime during the Summer, or at any time of the year for that matter...
