fiberglass
hey guys ive got a question concerning the body of our cars, my friends girlfriends dad has what he claims to be a lingenfelter 1997 trans am, he claims that the body is all fiberglass...is this the truth?? my body definatley doesnt feel like fiberglass on my 2000 trans am....he also claims to have a 383 from lingenfelter, what do you guys think about this? some of his past statements were very questionable thats why im questioning what he says thanks for any help

sounds like crap. I don't see any company changing out the quarters and doors for fiberglass. That is a lot of money. I'm sure the hood is fiberglass though. Could be stroked though.
just my opinion. I don't know for fact though.

Lingenfelter makes a performance kit for Trans Ams. You send in your car to have the performance package of your choice installed. Expensive but you have one of the rarest performance packs on the market. I've only met one person with it done. They don't change body panels tho. Hes full of shit.

Red- 2000 Trans Am
Well i know the 98+ have all plastic Front clip - light lids and hood on non ws6 models. Doors are some kind of composite? Not metal. roof is plastic. Spoiler is fiberglass or some kind of composite. only thing metal is quarters and deck lid, I think..
Maybe he is just confused?
