    Smile 12 bolt time?

So, in a little over a week, I am taking my car into the shop, and after all is said and done, I will be seeing about 450 rwhp on my '01 A4 T/A. Will I be ok with the stock rear, or am I going to be looking at needing a 12 bolt in the near future.

You're supposed to build up the drivetrain before the horsepower. Good luck.

    But that's no fun.

I'm pushing 470rwhp on my stock 10 bolt. Haven't done any hard launches with it though.

What's funnier is watching guys with head/cam kits at the track run 12s cause they cant launch.

Yeah, you want a Ford 9" its comparable in cost and is better than the 12 bolt in my opinion. You will break the stocker sooner or later. Why not sell it while its good and get some money to get other mods?

I'm hoping for 12s this year. Ran a 13.06 last year on street tires.

the 12 bolt is definately a good idea. I have one and it's nice not having to worry about the rear breaking at the track !

So how much can you get if you sell it?
