My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
BAH! listen to this...
found out what my set up was FINALLY:
stock decarbon's in back and bilsteins in front with eibach pro kit all around and an adj panhard bar.
I've ordered some SFC's and LCA's and a big ass front sway bar...but do you think that those un matched shocks are gonna kill me?

good idea/bad idea....
I'm thinking of putting some koni's on the back and keeping the bilstiens upfront until i have some more money to upgrade

I say ditch the shocks and get KYB adj's all the way around.

Both of those shocks will not be any good with those springs. (Bilstiens only are good for stock springs unless they are revalved)
Squeeze a better price out of Darkness for his DA's...

Of course it will help.
Keep an eye on the front bilstiens though as they will wear out fast from bottoming out with those springs.
You can always replace them later but damn the fronts are a bitch and if you are putting in Lower A-arms it is the perfect time to change out the dampers.

The difference is the 3rd gens (while cheaper) have to be removed from the car to be adjusted where the 4th gens have an adjuster on the top of the shock and can be quite a bit softer/harder while on the car.

there are a lot of people that think the 3rd gens are better b/c they are a monotube shock where as the 4th gens aren't. i haven't seen any actual proof of it, but people are claiming it has better rebound response then the 4th gens. personally, i am going with 4th gens all around as soon as i get time for it all (damn traveling )
