Now you guys know how the CETA mod looks on NBM in silver.
Did the CETA mod in silver, because lets face it, everyone and thier brother does black and NBM is too plain alone. Plus black doesn't stand out from NBM, and I didn't want 2 accent colors later on when I do CETA stripes. Taping off the front bird took the longest, cutting every peice with an exacto knife, ugh. But was worth it.
Now I need some PONTIAC Inlays, CETA Stripes, and paint the Trans AM in the same color, then wheels. And thats pretty much all I am doing for appearance.
Anyways... Enjoy, and let me know what you think.
I personnaly, like it, alot.
Yeah its my first post lol, but I have been reading this forums for awhile now.. I was in a 98 red T/A which got me started on this board, but then went back to thirdgens, but now I'm back in an LS1 as a few weeks ago.
I cant get the pics to work on here for some reason. So here is a link to a local board (NO SIGNUP) with them direct linked, so 1 click instead of 8.

Ehh, ..., I'd prefer a gun-metal gray to be honest.
But props for taking the initiative to do it your self.

Gunmetal was my first choice, since it is my favorite color ( I had a 88 Trans Am GTA, and 86 Z28, that were both Gunmetal Metallic ). But When bringing it to the NBM, it just didn't contrast enough, and blended too much, if that makes sense. I wanted more contrast, and something to show the diffrence in colors.
I really badly need to get the Rear T/A emblem/ Trans Am and PONTIAC inlays to help balance out the silver though, right now its too overpowering. Pics will be up when those vinyl peices come in.

doesn't look good imo. colors don't go together. The front bird looks awesome, but the ceta mod just doesnt look right, Almost looks like primer at a first glance

i have to agree w/KyleLs1, it looks like primer @ 1st glance...
also, like the others have said i think just a little darker color (Gun Metal) would have touched it off nicely...
all that really matters is that you like it...

I'm glad someone did it! i've been wondering how that would look. I dont think it looks bad, it'll look better once you get some accents. A little bit darker I think could have looked better tho like between that and gunmetal

Navy Blue Metallic- 2000 Pontiac Trans Am
the only thing i see wrong with it is the flaps pointing down from the bumper.
i think those flaps should be pinned to the body not just sticking out like they are...
i dunno, maybe its just the angle?

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
it sounded like a cool idea, but i didn't dig it much at all. I think the cool thing about the Black on lighter cars is that it blends into the pavement more so where as the silver is such a high contrast that it stands out too much.

All Black- 83, 87, 02 All WS6 T/As
I've been considering this on my 02.... but with mine being black.. I think the silver would have a little more contrast.
